The final stage of production for membrane and laminated panels is the assembly of the constituent layers, which due to variations in design and construction is not suited to automation. Our highly skilled staff work at designated workstations, maintaining a high level of precision assembly with the aid of dedicated jigs and online inspection. Products can be constructed as a flexible assembly or fitted to a PCB, back panel or moulding. All membrane assemblies are electrically tested prior to despatch on our PC based test rig, which checks for shorts and open circuits as well as an insulation. Assemblies incorporating LEDs have an additional LED circuit test.
